Lifting technology in accordance with European standard EN 1808
The LEVA series people elevators are motorised lifting devices specifically designed for the vertical transport of people and loads in industrial, construction and maintenance environments.
They are best known for being the "heart" of suspended scaffolding, maintenance baskets and high-level work platforms.
Main Features
- Cable Passing System: Unlike a conventional winch that wraps the cable around a drum, LEVA models use a pulley-based traction system. This allows for unlimited lifting height, as the cable simply passes through the motor.
- Load Capacity: There are different models (such as the LEVA 500 or the LEVA 750) whose numbers typically indicate the maximum capacity in kilograms.
- Integrated Safety: They include overload detection systems, electromagnetic brakes, and a manual emergency descent device in case of an electrical power failure.
- Dual Cable: They always operate with a working cable system and a secondary safety cable connected to an anti-fall device (such as the MDB blocker from the same brand).
