Special Suspended Scaffolding for Curved Building Design

Project requirements

The client needs to access the curved side facades of the ring structure of the new BBVA headquarters building in Madrid.

Design, manufacturing, assembly, and customer training for a KOMPLET Special Suspended Scaffold, allowing access to and movement along the entire curved contour of the building's side facade.

The client needs to access the curved side facades of the ring structure of the new BBVA headquarters building in Madrid.

Solution

18-meter Special Suspended Scaffold with folding railings for better reach in sections where the facade's curvature increases the distance from the platform.

The platform is suspended from motorized translation trolleys that travel along track beams.

These beams are anchored using a modular davit structure that adapts to each of the varying radii of the curved facade.

The only viable solution to access this specific geometry was an Accesus suspended platform.

Solution
