In this case, the BRAKOO davit is installed on metal rail beams perpendicular to the arm of the davit, thus allowing the movement of the davit around the entire perimeter of the roof of a building. This model is adapted for rails with IPN-140 beams, although the equipment can be adapted to other types of rail.
If we look at the load capacity it can support, the BRAKOO suspension davit on a perpendicular rail beam is approved for suspending hanging scaffolding with elevators with a maximum load capacity of 300, 400 or 500 Kg.
The installation of the davit BRAKOO on rail requires two operators, although it is very fast using screws and pins that fix the 25 Kg counterweights in the davit housings. The flight will vary depending on the BRAKOO davit we use to install it on the perpendicular rail, but it does not usually reach 2 meters. In fact, the largest flight that we built at Accesus is that of a BRAKOO 1B on rail and the maximum flight was 1.75 meters.
