While in confined spaces, it can be configured for vertical use (TRI14), as a traditional tripod, or for horizontal use (TRI14 CRS), allowing cantilevered rescues.
Its working height ranges from 1.79 to 2.89 meters for vertical works and 2.08 meters for horizontal ones.
Made of aluminum alloy, the TRI14 tripod is a very lightweight temporary anchorage device, easy to assemble and transport when folded.
When used in the vertical position, the TRI14 is a very complete rescue tripod equipped with 1 fixed anchorage point at its top. It also has telescopic legs with 7 possible adjustment points and treads, non-slip feet, and a chain for fixing the legs.
On the other hand, when using the TRI14 (CRS) horizontally, its header is fixed to the support base, either with counterweights, a motor vehicle with a minimum weight of 3,500 Kg or by a mechanical fastening. It is coupled to one of the fixed anchorage points, located on its legs, that will remain at the top of the structure. Finally, the other two ends of the tripod are fastened to the base with supports.
The Accesus TRI14 tripod is compatible with various lifts and lifeguards, retractable fall arresters, and retractable fall arresters with Accesus rescuers that comply with EN 1496 on rescue devices. Contact us to choose the option that best suits your needs.
