Background
The customer needs to develop a permanently installed mobile platform to carry out regular maintenance of the over 100 meters height free-fall ride Hurakan Condor at the emblematic Port Aventura amusement park of Tarragona.
Project
Complete development of a suspended platform that could use the ride’s upper area to park and its mast for regular maintenance tasks.
Solution
Accesus developed a very complex suspended platform with the hoists installed on top of the ride’s tower and not on its own platform. An electrical control system allows the platform’s movement with or without people on it. All this is located in a very small room at the top of Hurakan Condor ride while in use with the public.
This platform replaces previous equipment manufactured in 2004.
