Project overview
Background
The customer needed equipment for positioning people while installing windows on the evangelists’ towers at Sagrada Familia, Barcelona, Catalonia.
Project
Design, manufacture, assembly, customer training, and maintenance of a motorized suspended cradle to access each of the towers’ holes, work on them, and install the frames and windows.
Solution
Electric suspended cradle with horizontal movement using a motorized trolley that runs along a rail beam and follows the tower’s entire octagonal perimeter. The platform has built-in reels that automatically collect the excess cable. The platform has a system for approaching each of the holes and holding on to them safely, allowing the installation of the different elements that make up the window.
The equipment is an evolution of the standard Accesus Basic model with the appropriate modifications to this case.
