Background
The customer needs safe access to a dam’s filtering grids in Lleida, Spain.
Project
Design, manufacture, assembly, customer training, and annual maintenance of a suspended platform on opposite access dam’s façade. That solves the double problem of positioning a person on the grids following the geometry on a 75º inclined surface.
Solution
Suspended platform to cofferdam access, equipped with inclined stirrups and wheels adapting to the required angle and achieving total stability along the entire length of the inclined wall.
The parts that make up the platform are small enough to complete its assembly, with it being already safely suspended in the well. The equipment is supported by clamps anchored to an existing beam. Its resistance is previously checked through a load test.
