Background
The customer had to make some repairs in the external upper area of a solar tower of more than 140 meters high.
Project
Design, manufacture, customer training, and assembly of a hanging platform allowing access to the tower’s highest part in its external area. It is an infrastructure located in high mountains, with bad weather and strong wind.
Solution
Equipment composed of a suspended platform hung from structural parts of the solar tower on which incorporates a special guidance system to minimize the effect of the wind and to be able to climb without having contact with the concrete tower.
